OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies

ActionAdventureComedyCrime99 min

In 1955, French secret agent Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath is sent to Cairo to investigate the disappearance of his friend and fellow spy, Jack Jefferson. Jean Dujardin is Hubert, a suave operative whose confidence keeps colliding with a widening knot of international intrigue. As the case pulls him through a city crowded with rival agendas, shifting loyalties, and espionage games, Bérénice Bejo and Aure Atika join the orbit around him. The film turns its missing-agent setup into a comic send-up of midcentury spy fiction, with Hubert’s self-assurance often proving as disruptive as any enemy plot.
