Batman: Year One

ActionAdventureAnimationCrimeDramaThriller64 min

Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham after years away just as Chicago cop Jim Gordon arrives to a department steeped in corruption, and their separate attempts to clean up the city begin to intersect. Ben McKenzie is Bruce at the start of his vigilante life, while Bryan Cranston's Gordon works from inside a police force tied to the mob and city hall. As Batman takes shape in the shadows, Selina Kyle enters the picture and Gotham's underworld pushes back, turning this early chapter into a street-level clash between law, crime, and a masked figure no one can yet control.
