Wade Wilson is a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary whose life is upended by a rogue experiment that leaves him scarred and able to heal from almost anything. Ryan Reynolds gives him the alter ego Deadpool, sending Wade after the man responsible while he cuts through gunfights, brawls, and his own running commentary. Morena Baccarin is Vanessa, a link to the life Wade had before, and Ed Skrein's Ajax sits at the center of his revenge hunt. The film mixes superhero action with graphic violence, self-aware jokes, and frequent fourth-wall breaks.
