Mortal World

ActionAdventureComedyCrime107 min

The Mermer family has spent generations running Anatolian Flavors at Haydarpasa train station, presenting itself as a quiet eight-person household with a modest restaurant and a settled routine. Behind the kitchen doors, though, they’ve been hiding a dangerous second life for years, and keeping that secret intact gets harder as the family is pulled into increasingly messy criminal trouble. Ahmet Mumtaz Taylan and Alper Kul are among the members of the clan at the center of it, as gang warfare and family squabbles turn their double life into a darkly comic scramble to keep everything from collapsing.
