On the day of a condemned serial killer’s execution, a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation turns into a battle of wills inside a death-row cell. Jordan Belfi is the psychiatrist sent to decide whether the inmate is sane enough to die; Sean Patrick Flanery’s prisoner insists he isn’t mentally ill at all, but a demon who wants the execution to proceed. As the interview tightens, the inmate makes a chilling prediction: before their time together ends, the doctor will commit three murders himself. The story stays focused on that confrontation, with questions of guilt, evil, and belief pressing in from both sides.
