Emma, a famous horror novelist, discovers that the nightmares and figures from her books are turning up in the real world, forcing her back to the hometown she left behind. Victoire Du Bois is Emma, whose return opens old wounds as she confronts the past that fed her fiction and the spirit that has stalked her dreams for years. With Lucie Boujenah and Tiphaine Daviot in the orbit of that homecoming, the series ties supernatural terror to a writer’s growing fear that what she created on the page was never fully invented.
