Courage Under Fire

ActionAdventureDramaMysteryThrillerWar117 min

After a friendly-fire mistake in the Gulf War leaves his career stalled, Denzel Washington is a U.S. Army officer reassigned to a desk job and ordered to review a fallen pilot’s Medal of Honor case. The soldier at the center of it is Meg Ryan’s helicopter commander, credited with heroism during a mission behind enemy lines. But as he interviews the men who were there, the story keeps changing. What begins as a formal commendation turns into an inquiry shaped by conflicting testimony, military politics, and the officer’s own buried guilt.
