The Politician
ComedyDrama42 min per episode
In wealthy Santa Barbara, teenager Payton Hobart has mapped out his life around one goal: becoming president, and he treats a high school student-body race like the first step in a national campaign. To win, he assembles a polished strategy, manages appearances, and tries to control every variable around him. That plan gets messier as rivals, alliances, and personal crises turn school politics into a ruthless contest where image matters as much as votes. Ben Platt anchors Payton as someone whose ambition keeps colliding with the chaos of the people closest to him, while each new race pushes his carefully built future into riskier territory.
