The Green Inferno

ActionAdventureHorror100 min

A group of student activists leaves New York City for the Amazon to protest the destruction of the rainforest, but their mission goes badly wrong once they reach the jungle. Lorenza Izzo is the young woman drawn into the trip, with Ariel Levy among the organizers pushing the action forward. Directed by Eli Roth, the film takes its setup of campus idealism and overseas activism into isolated survival horror, as the group discovers they are not alone in the dense South American wilderness and their protest has put them in the path of a cannibalistic tribe.
