Bear, a music store employee and hopeless romantic, breaks the mysterious One Wish Willow to make his childhood friend Nikki fall in love with him. He gets exactly what he asked for, but the wish quickly twists into something controlling and dangerous, turning affection into a source of fear. With Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette among the central cast, the story keeps its focus tight on desire, secrecy, and the fallout of trying to force a relationship into existence. Curry Barker’s horror film treats the inciting wish less like a fantasy than a trap, with each reveal pushing Bear further into consequences he can’t take back.
