Barbershop

ComedyDrama102 min

On Chicago’s South Side, a neighborhood barbershop is more than a place for haircuts: it is where arguments, jokes, gossip, and local politics all collide over the course of a single day. Calvin, who has inherited the shop, is tired of the grind and makes a quick deal that puts the business in someone else’s hands. Once the sale starts to sink in, he sees what the shop means to the barbers, the regulars, and the block around it. As small disputes flare in the chairs and on the sidewalk, Calvin scrambles to undo his mistake before the place that holds this community together slips away.
