Dimple Kapadia is Savitri, the matriarch of a sprawling cartel in India’s lawless Borderlands, and when she opens a battle to decide her successor, the struggle reaches from the family home into the drug trade she controls. The series turns the mother-in-law versus daughters-in-law dynamic into a criminal power fight, with younger women around Savitri pushed into shifting alliances, betrayals, and open violence. Radhika Madan and Isha Talwar are part of the ensemble circling Savitri’s empire, where loyalty inside the family is inseparable from survival outside it.
