Good Fortune
ComedyFantasyRomance98 min
Gabriel is a well-meaning angel with terrible instincts, and when he interferes in the lives of a struggling gig worker and a wealthy capitalist, his help quickly becomes a problem. Keanu Reeves is Gabriel, drifting into the orbit of Aziz Ansari’s Arj with plans that are much bigger than his judgment. Written and directed by Ansari, the film threads together money trouble, angelic meddling, and a romance-comedy setup built around crossed wires, class friction, and a celestial do-gooder who keeps making things worse.
