The Lookout
CrimeDramaThriller99 min
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Chris, a once-promising high school athlete whose life is upended after a tragic car crash. Trying to build some kind of normal routine, he takes a job as a janitor at a bank, where a local robbery crew begins circling him as a way inside. Jeff Daniels appears alongside him, with Isla Fisher and Matthew Goode in the orbit of the heist as Chris is pulled deeper into a situation he didn’t set in motion. Scott Frank’s film stays close to Chris, framing the bank job and the planned robbery around a life that has already been knocked sharply off course.
