Shaakuntalam
DramaFantasyRomance149 min
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is Shakuntala, the forest-raised daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra, living under the care of sage Kanva when her life changes with the arrival of King Dushyant (Dev Mohan). Their meeting in the wilderness turns into love and marriage, but after he leaves promising to return, a sage's curse strips Dushyant of all memory of her. The story moves between hermitage and kingdom, drawing on mythological lore as Shakuntala faces separation, royal distance, and the consequences of a bond only she remembers. Mohan Babu, Gautami, and Ananya Nagalla appear in the surrounding world of sages and royals.
