The Witches

ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasyHorrorMystery106 min

After losing his parents in late-1967 Alabama, a young boy goes to live with his grandmother, whose warnings about witches become urgent when the two escape to a seaside hotel and stumble into a secret gathering. Jahzir Bruno is the orphan at the center of the story, while Octavia Spencer gives his grandmother a watchful, no-nonsense presence. Anne Hathaway’s Grand High Witch arrives in polished glamour, concealing a plan aimed squarely at children — one that leaves the boy facing a world of witches, hotel corridors, and a very unwelcome transformation.
