The Bubble
Comedy127 min
Trapped in a luxury hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic, the cast and crew of a blockbuster action franchise try to shoot a sequel while quarantine rules, ego clashes, and bad decisions keep pushing the production off course. Karen Gillan is one of the movie stars marooned inside the bubble, with Pedro Pascal among the ensemble of actors, handlers, and crew members unraveling under the same roof. Directed by Judd Apatow, the film keeps its focus on the messy logistics of making a giant franchise movie when nobody can leave, everybody is restless, and every small problem has room to spiral.
