Benny's Video

CrimeDrama110 min

Fourteen-year-old Benny spends more time watching the world through a TV screen and a video camera than engaging with the people around him. In Vienna, Arno Frisch is the detached teenager at the center, while Angela Winkler and Ulrich Mühe are his well-to-do parents, Anna and Georg, whose controlled household starts to come apart after Benny brings a girl to their empty apartment and records an act of violence. As Benny turns his camera on family life, the film tracks how images, routine, and emotional distance blur together inside a comfortable home.
