Jeanne Tripplehorn's Barb, Chloë Sevigny's Nicki, and Ginnifer Goodwin's Margene each hold a different place in the family, as Bill juggles money, secrecy, religion, and the demands of home. When troubling news about his father pulls Bill back toward the rural Utah compound where he was raised, the line between his carefully managed suburban life and his fundamentalist Mormon roots begins to blur.
