The Best You Can
ComedyDramaRomance103 min
Cynthia Rand is a buttoned-up New Yorker whose marriage to a brilliant professor 25 years her senior starts to shift as his advancing age changes the terms of their life together. Then a home robbery attempt brings Stan Olszewski into her orbit, a sharp but chronically underachieving security guard whose arrival unsettles the order she’s built. Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon lead a story built around chance connection, long-term commitment, and the uneasy appeal of starting over when your life already seems set.
