Bates Motel

CrimeDramaHorrorMysteryThriller43 min per episode

After her husband’s death, Norma Bates buys a motel in a coastal Oregon town and moves there with her teenage son, Norman, hoping to start over. Vera Farmiga is Norma, a mother whose protectiveness and volatility shape every corner of their new life, while Freddie Highmore’s Norman is smart, uneasy, and increasingly difficult to pin down. Framed as a modern-day prequel to Psycho, the series follows the pair as they settle into a town full of buried secrets, uneasy alliances, and sudden violence, with the motel itself becoming the center of a relationship that keeps growing darker.
