Eddie Izzard: Sexie
ComedyDocumentary97 min
Eddie Izzard brings her 2003 stand-up set to Eastbourne, the English seaside town where her father and grandfather were born and where she went to school. Filmed during the Sexie world tour, the special keeps the focus on Izzard alone onstage, building the show in front of a live crowd with Eastbourne as more than just a stop on the schedule. That personal link gives the performance its frame, while the tour itself stretched well beyond the town, taking the material through the UK, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
