Buffalo '66

ComedyDramaRomance110 min

Fresh out of prison, Billy Brown grabs a young tap dancer named Layla and drags her into a lie he thinks he needs to survive a visit home. He forces her to pose as his wife so he can face his parents and hide how badly his life has gone off course. What starts as a desperate cover story turns into a tense, awkward trip through Buffalo, where Billy’s bitterness keeps pulling him toward an older obsession: revenge against the Buffalo Bills kicker he blames for ruining everything. Vincent Gallo and Christina Ricci play two strangers trapped in the same strange plan, as the fake marriage begins to shift in ways Billy never expected.
