The Beast
DramaHorrorRomanceSci-FiThriller147 min
In 2044, Gabrielle submits to a procedure meant to purge strong emotions by plunging her into memories of past lives. Léa Seydoux is Gabrielle, moving through a near future where AI governs daily life and feeling itself has become suspect. Across those erased histories, she keeps encountering Louis — George MacKay as a man who seems at once familiar, romantic, and dangerous. Their connection echoes through Belle Époque Paris, early 21st-century Los Angeles, and the cold present, where each new encounter suggests the same bond resurfacing under different names, pressures, and forms of violence.
