Eraserhead

FantasyHorrorSci-Fi89 min

Henry Spencer is a nervous first-time father trapped in a soot-streaked industrial landscape, trying to manage a volatile relationship and the constant cries of his newborn child. Jack Nance’s towering-haired Henry moves through David Lynch’s black-and-white nightmare with Charlotte Stewart as Mary, the girlfriend whose family life only deepens his dread. Domestic anxiety turns strange and bodily as the film folds factory noise, cramped rooms, and surreal images into Henry’s increasingly unstable world.
