Il re

CrimeDrama22 min per episode

San Michele prison runs on Bruno Testori’s rules. As the director, Bruno (Luca Zingaretti) is known to inmates as “The King,” a man who enforces order according to his own sense of justice — severe when he decides it’s necessary, unexpectedly merciful at other moments, and willing to bend the system he controls. Inside the prison, his authority reaches into every corner; outside it, he’s carrying private demons and a broken family life. Il re centers on a prison boss who is also an officer of the law, with power, punishment, and personal judgment colliding every time Bruno decides where the line is.
