As an apocalypse begins, a small group trapped in a remote desert diner learns that an infant in their midst may be humanity’s last chance. The threat does not come from demons but from angels and the possessed, who descend to wipe out the child before he can become a savior. Cut off from help, the strangers have to turn the diner into a fortress while panic, mistrust, and relentless attacks close in around them. When a fallen archangel arrives with a warning and a weapon, the fight shifts from simple survival to a desperate stand against heaven itself, with Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid among those caught in the siege.
