Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar

DramaRomance53 min per episode

In Lahore’s Heera Mandi during the Indian independence movement, the women of a famed red-light district live at the center of desire, money, and power while British colonial rule tightens around them. The series follows tawaifs whose homes are also battlegrounds, as rivalries inside the kothas collide with pressure from officials and the pull of the freedom struggle outside. Love affairs, family loyalties, and status within the district become tangled with political danger, forcing each woman to weigh survival against pride and allegiance. As figures played by Manisha Koirala and Sonakshi Sinha move through shifting alliances, private grievances spill into a wider fight over who gets to control Heeramandi.
