Just My Luck
ComedyDramaFamilyFantasyRomance108 min
Ashley Albright seems to glide through Manhattan on impossible good fortune until a kiss at a masquerade ball flips everything. Lindsay Lohan is Ashley, a publicist whose effortless streak vanishes after a chance encounter with Chris Pine’s Jake, a down-and-out young man who has spent his life on the losing end of luck. Suddenly, Ashley’s day starts falling apart in public, while Jake finds doors opening for him at the exact moment her fortune disappears. As she tries to understand what happened, the film turns on a literal luck swap, romantic confusion, and a New York night where one meeting changes both of their trajectories.
