Fresh out of prison and trying to get back to his wife, Nicolas Cage is Cameron Poe, a former Army Ranger forced onto a prison transport flight packed with some of the country’s most dangerous inmates. When the plane is hijacked in midair, Poe is trapped between armed convicts, panicked guards, and John Malkovich’s cold-blooded ringleader, Cyrus “The Virus” Grissom. As the flight veers toward open chaos, a federal agent on the ground races to track the aircraft while officials argue over how to stop it. Steve Buscemi and Ving Rhames are among the volatile prisoners crowding the cabin.
