Gerald's Game

DramaHorrorThriller104 min

A getaway to a remote lake house turns into a trap when a sex game leaves Jessie handcuffed to a bed with no easy way out. Carla Gugino is Jessie, forced to think, bargain, and endure as thirst, isolation, and panic close in, while Bruce Greenwood's Gerald lingers in her mind as accusation, memory, and something harder to name. Directed by Mike Flanagan, the film keeps the focus tight on one room and one woman as warped visions, an approaching eclipse, and buried childhood trauma press in from every side.
