Years after Sawa vanishes, rumors spread through the city about the Angel of Death, a feather-trailing assassin who eliminates targets with eerie precision. The killer is actually Monaka, a polite, clumsy schoolgirl whose life revolves around classes, a part-time waitress job, and waiting for her astronaut father to return. When an assignment comes in, that shy public face disappears. Marina Inoue and Akemi Okamura are among the voice cast in this Japanese anime follow-up, which links urban crime, contract killings, and a distant parent-child bond while keeping Sawa’s absence hanging over the story.
