In a setting where marriages hinge on reputation, a young man’s search for a bride keeps falling apart because a private detective is quietly ruining his prospects. The detective trails grooms, digs up their habits, and reports back to cautious families, turning arranged matches into a field of traps and misunderstandings. When the targeted bachelor decides to strike back, the feud spills into homes, courtship rituals, and family pride. Diljit Dosanjh and Manoj Bajpayee lead a comic battle of schemes and counter-schemes, with each move threatening to wreck another alliance as suspicion, vanity, and social rules keep raising the stakes.
