Dropped into Manhattan’s world of publicists, starlets, and status games, Sidney keeps turning ambition into embarrassment as he tries to navigate an industry built on access. Jeff Bridges’s editor Clayton Harding has little patience for chaos, while a co-worker (Kirsten Dunst) sees more in Sidney than his bluster and bad timing.
