Ghostbusters: Answer the Call
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasySci-Fi117 min
After ghosts overrun Manhattan, paranormal enthusiasts Erin Gilbert and Abby Yates pull together an unlikely team to fight back. Kristen Wiig is Erin, with Melissa McCarthy alongside her as Abby; they’re joined by nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon) and subway worker Patty Tolan, whose encounter with the city’s growing spirit problem puts her in the middle of it. As the group builds a ghost-catching operation, Chris Hemsworth’s Kevin adds another complication as their well-meaning receptionist. Paul Feig’s reboot brings the action to contemporary New York, with improvised tech, roaming apparitions, and a citywide supernatural outbreak.
