The Dirt
ComedyDocumentaryDrama108 min
Mötley Crüe’s climb from the Sunset Strip club scene to early-1980s rock stardom drives this biopic, which follows the band’s formation and the chaos around its sudden rise. Nikki Sixx (Douglas Booth) and Tommy Lee, with Colson Baker behind the sticks, are part of a four-man lineup that turns loud shows and a reckless image into national attention. Alongside Daniel Webber and Iwan Rheon as Vince Neil and Mick Mars, the film tracks the group through the excess, infighting, and notoriety that become inseparable from the band’s name.
