A glimpse of a familiar woman across the tracks in Tokyo sends Taku Morisaki back to his high school days in Kōchi, when the arrival of a transfer student from Tokyo began to strain the bond between Taku and his best friend. Nobuo Tobita and Yoko Sakamoto lead the voice cast in a story built around small shifts in friendship, rumor, and attraction, as a class trip and a sudden journey to Tokyo leave feelings hanging just below the surface.
