After years of pushing her son toward a life she thinks will protect him, a hard-driving single mother finds herself caring for him all over again when an accident leaves him with the mind of a child. Back in their rural hometown, old wounds reopen as mother and son are forced into the kind of closeness they never had when he was a successful prosecutor in Seoul. As he relearns ordinary life, buried memories and unanswered questions about his past begin to surface. Ra Mi-ran and Lee Do-hyun anchor a story about regret, resentment, and a family trying to rebuild itself under painful, unexpected circumstances.
