The Rover

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaSci-FiWestern103 min

Ten years after an economic collapse, Eric is a drifter moving through the Australian outback, where the law has thinned out and his car is the only thing he still values. Guy Pearce is Eric, flinty and unreadable, setting off after a gang that steals the vehicle and leaves one of their own behind. The wounded Rey (Robert Pattinson) becomes his unwilling guide, pulled into a tense pursuit across desert roads, motels, and half-broken towns. As they track the thieves, every stop reveals a harsher social order where cash, weapons, and instinct matter more than any remaining rules.
