The Boy

HorrorMysteryThriller98 min

Lauren Cohan is Greta, an American woman who takes a nanny job in a remote English village and arrives at a large country house expecting to look after a child. The couple who hired her instead present their eight-year-old son: a life-sized doll, cared for according to a strict list of rules covering meals, bedtime, and daily routine. When Greta starts brushing those rules aside, the house answers with a string of disturbances that are harder to explain away. Rupert Evans' Malcolm is one of the few links she has to the outside world as the isolation closes in.
