In 1993, Ted the talking teddy bear is past his brief celebrity and back under one roof with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, in a working-class Massachusetts home. Seth MacFarlane returns as the voice of Ted, whose bad ideas and constant meddling make him a lousy influence on John, while Max Burkholder’s John is still young enough to get pulled along. The household also includes John’s parents, Susan and Matty (Alanna Ubach and Scott Grimes), plus cousin Blaire, turning the show into a family comedy built around close quarters, teen misbehavior, and a very unusual houseguest.
