47 Ronin
ActionAdventureDramaFantasy128 min
After their master is killed and they are cast out, 47 masterless samurai turn to Kai, a half-breed outsider they once rejected. Keanu Reeves is Kai, pulled into a revenge mission led by Hiroyuki Sanada’s Oishi, the ronin chief determined to strike back at the treacherous lord behind their fall. Drawing on the legend of the forty-seven ronin, the film reshapes feudal Japan into a fantasy world of sorcery, giant beasts, and formal sword combat, as Kai joins the band on a dangerous push to restore their honor.
