In the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, Princess Bean would rather drink, dodge court duties, and stir up trouble than act like royalty. Abbi Jacobson is Bean, a rebellious heir whose constant companions are Elfo, a wide-eyed young elf voiced by Nat Faxon, and Luci, her personal demon, with Eric André supplying the needling commentary. As Bean’s schemes keep colliding with palace life, the series turns fairy-tale castles, taverns, and arranged expectations into a rougher, stranger comic world. Matt Groening’s fantasy comedy keeps its focus on this unruly trio and the havoc they bring with them.
