Spartacus

ActionAdventureDramaRomance53 min per episode

In the last years of the Roman Republic, a Thracian warrior is torn from his wife, sold into slavery, and forced into the brutal world of gladiatorial combat in Capua. Renamed Spartacus, he survives the arena by learning its rules: please the crowd, obey ruthless masters, and outfight men who are as trapped as he is. As his hunger for freedom grows, the house that profits from his blood becomes a nest of shifting loyalties, rivalries, and schemes. Andy Whitfield leads the story as a man pushed from private revenge toward open defiance, while John Hannah appears as the owner trying to turn violence into status and power.
