The Forbidden City
ActionAdventureDramaRomanceThriller139 min
The son of a restaurant owner buried in debt teams up with a young foreign woman searching for her missing sister, and their hunt drags them into Rome’s criminal underworld. Enrico Borello is the son caught between family obligations and escalating danger, while Yaxi Liu brings a fighter’s edge to the stranger leading the search. As they move from kitchens and back rooms to street-level fights with some of the city’s most ruthless criminals, the story follows an uneasy alliance forged under pressure, with family debts and a disappearance pulling both of them deeper into the underworld around them.
