A tough ex-convict and a traditional, timid young woman find an unlikely connection that turns into marriage, only for tragedy to reshape their lives. Harshvardhan Rane is Inder, carrying a hard exterior that clashes with the world around him, opposite Mawra Hocane’s Saraswati, whose quiet reserve sets her apart. The film follows their romance from first contact through its life-altering turn, drawing on the legend of Shiva-Sati and echoing the classic setup of Eric Segal’s Love Story.
