Farha
DramaWar92 min
Palestine, 1948. Farha is a 14-year-old in a small village who wants to leave for school in the city, even as tradition expects a different future. After the British withdrawal, tensions between Arabs and Jews sharpen, and the violence closing in on her village upends that dream. Hidden away by her father as the crisis erupts, Farha is left cut off from the outside world, with only fragments of what’s happening beyond the door. Karam Taher leads the film from Farha’s perspective, with Ali Suliman among the supporting cast.
