Royal Secret Agent
ComedyDramaMysteryRomance60 min per episode
In Joseon, the king’s secret royal inspectors move through the provinces in disguise, listening to commoners’ grievances and uncovering corruption among local officials. Myung-soo Kim is one of the undercover agents at the center of the story, with Nara and Lee Yi-kyeong among the figures orbiting each mission. Working as the king’s eyes and ears means keeping their identities hidden while getting close enough to hear what officials would rather bury. As cases take the inspectors from town to town, government abuses, court power, comedy, mystery, and romance all fold into the investigations.
