Raees
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller143 min
In 1980s and ’90s Gujarat, a small-time bootlegger builds a criminal empire while a determined police officer works to bring him down. Shah Rukh Khan is Raees, a sharp operator whose rise from the margins turns him into one of the state’s most influential underworld figures. On the other side is Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s dogged cop, tracking Raees as his business grows and the crackdown tightens. Framed around smuggling, power, and pursuit, the story follows the clash between an ambitious crime boss and the law closing in on him.
