Ordinary Angels

Drama118 min

In small-town Kentucky, hairdresser Sharon Steves finds a new purpose when she becomes determined to help a widowed father whose young daughter needs a liver transplant. Hilary Swank is Sharon, a struggling woman who throws herself into the family’s crisis, while Alan Ritchson’s Ed Schmitt is balancing work, hospital visits, and life with his two daughters after his wife’s death. Inspired by true events during the 1994 North American cold wave, the story follows Sharon as she pulls neighbors, businesses, and strangers into a community effort, even as family strain and a mounting snowstorm make every step harder.
